Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2026

The FETF 2026 helps farmers, horticulturalists, forestry owners, and contractors invest in new machinery and technology. It supports productivity, slurry, and animal health & welfare equipment.

Who Can Apply:

  • Businesses based in England

  • Farmers, horticulturalists, forestry owners, or contractors providing services to them

  • For animal health & welfare, must farm cattle, sheep, pigs, or chickens

What You Can Apply For:

  • New or ex‑display machinery costing £1,000–£25,000 per theme

  • Must meet official specifications listed by FETF

Grant Funding:

  • Competitive funding, up to £25,000 per theme

  • Applicants must cover costs not funded by the grant

Application Period:

  • Opens: 17 March 2026

  • Closes: 28 April 2026 at midday

  • Apply online via the Farming Investment Fund service

Before Applying:

  • Check equipment against official item lists

  • Confirm availability with suppliers

  • Do not purchase items before application

  • Ensure your business is registered with Rural Payments service and has an SBI
