The Telescopic Walkways were designed to meet the need to safely access the Ladder Access Platform if the shield was either raised out or benched in the ground.  With a telescopic floor to give some flexibility in the distance to get to the platform and provide a safe angle to walk on. 

The walkway attachs to the Ladder Access Platform with an aluminium bar that secures the walkway and is locked in place with an R clip.

The 1200mm to 2000mm walkway weighs just 37kgs
